Republicans Propose Banning Gay Clubs To Help Stop Mass Shootings

Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich was adamant Monday that closing all gay night clubs will drastically reduce mass shootings. “If the clubs don’t exist, there won’t be shootings,” said Gingrich. “Problem solved.”

The comments came after an attack in Orlando, Florida that left 50 dead and 60 injured at a popular gay club. With one of the largest domestic terrorist attacks in history, gun supporters are bracing for additional gun control.

Gingrich then went to compare the solution to women getting raped. “Don’t wear short skirts and don’t get raped. Don’t dance in a gay club, don’t get shot.

“It’s common sense, people. Same goes with passing out behind a dumpster; you are only asking for trouble.

“If there were no gay clubs, we’d have fifty less dead people. It’s practical and easy just like wearing a thick sweater.”

When asked if gun control would be a more rational solution, the four-time divorced Republican said, “Absolutely not. The constitution guarantees our right to own assault rifles. It says nothing about gay nightclubs.”

Many other Republicans agreed that gay night clubs are bringing the problems on themselves and they are allowing themselves to be targeted.
