Internet trolls lashed out last week about the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer claiming it was anti-white. After studying the trailer for a week, the Alabama governing body agreed the film is racist towards whites and that Alabama, “will not tolerate racism.”
Christian conservatives were already angry that the film was being released on Christmas Day. Tim Taylor of Christian Con told the Science Christian Monitor, “It’s Jesus’s birthday. Those that go to the movies instead of church, well, there is a special place in Hell for you.
“This is not a documentary like The Passion Of The Christ, it’s a science fiction film which means it’s fake, it didn’t actually happen.”
Star Wars pre-sale tickets smashed records and even brought down websites from extremely high traffic. Fandango president of sales released a statement saying, “We had to bring on an extra dozen servers to keep up with demand.
“Consumers are very excited with anticipation to watch the film Christmas day. For a state to halt pre-sale tickets is ridiculous and against the law. Credit cards with Alabama zip codes will no longer work. We have contacted the federal consumer agent for clarification. I’m sure if we were selling guns, Alabama would not have a problem.”
