Ben Carson declared “My book tour is nowhere near over” to a group of people at a Las Vegas Barnes and Noble. His most recent book, A More Perfect Union, has been selling well but wishes to increase its sales through his national book tour.
The ten-time author has been on a nine-month book tour and has no plans on slowing down.
“We sold a lot of books in Iowa recently, not as many books in New Hampshire, and even fewer in South Carolina. People have had it tough in Nevada, so I wasn’t expecting many sales. But that will not deter me from getting my message out, buy my book.”
The book covers topics ranging from politics to stories of his youth. For only $12.99, it works as a great insomnia remedy.
“I’ll be in Texas for a while,” said Carson. “So come say hello and I’ll sign your book if you buy more than two of my titles such as America the Beautiful and Pull My Finger, Jesus Did. That’s something you can brag to your grandchildren about.”
Carson is working on a second book covering his presidential campaign. Titled Carson 2016: The Adventure of Politicking, Shaking Hands, and Taking Naps. It glosses over the rise and fall of his 2016 presidential bid.
“I have a remarkable story of Ted Cruz’s dirty underhanded politics. His campaign telling voters I was pretty much dead and to vote for Cruz was distasteful. He’s a distasteful man who lacks integrity.
“He’s the perfect example of the snake in the grass and makes for a great villain in my new book.
“I have a whole bus full of books and will not stop until I sell every single copy.”
