The Pokemon Go sensation is giving door guys to bars and clubs nightmares as kids are trying to enter to collect Pokemon on their phones.”
A security guard at a popular bar in Los Angeles had to fight 4 teenagers who refused to take ‘no’ for an answer. “They didn’t even want to drink, just capture a Pokemon. But the law is the law and I couldn’t let them enter. When they physically tried to enter, I had to physically stop them. Not going to lose my job over these nerds.”
Bar owners are not sure what to make of the situation. “We could have them enter before opening hours and charge them a twenty dollar cover,” said LA bar owner Michael Stevens. “What happened to the days when they were trying to drink? “Now they want to catch digital creatures. They could at least talk to a girl or something.”
Teenage Wasteland
“We aren’t trying to drink and get drunk,” said Jimmy, 17 years old. “We are just playing a harmless, productive games. If the Pokemon is in the bar, then we gotta do what we gotta do to catch it.”
“I didn’t sneak into the strip club to see the woman, but I heard a Clamlitmon was inside.”
