Ted Cruz Kicked Out Of The GOP After Convention Speech

A chorus of boos rained down on Ted Cruz when the Texas Senator refused to outright support Donald Trump for president. “Vote with your conscious up and down the ticket,” said Cruz to end the speech. Trump then made an entrance after they saw that Cruz wasn’t going to say “vote for Trump.”

The GOP today announced Cruz would no longer have access to the Republican voter database, essentially kicking him out of the party. GOP strategist Tom Whiteford said, “Without the database, it’s nearly impossible to raise money. And if Cruz was hoping to run for president again in 2020 against either Trump or Clinton, it will no longer be possible. Trump really twisted our arms over it. This is not something that happens very often, but this isn’t a typical election.”

Even Fox News made fun of Cruz after his speech. Megyn Kelly joked, “You know why Republicans take an instant dislike to Ted Cruz? To save time.”

Cruzing for a bruisin

Cruz’s camp is in shock and anger from being hoisted from his own political party. “Look, I tell it as it is and some people don’t like that,” said Cruz. “I guess some of them are still mad about me shutting down the government because I hate free women’s health care.”

The former prosecutor turned career politician, still has his core base supporters in a small part of Texas but that’s not nearly large enough to re-enter the national stage, and that’s the point of disenfranchising Cruz from the Republican’s database.

Cruz was seen crying on the trip home asking, “Why doesn’t anyone like me? That’s it; I’m starting my own party, the Super Tea Party (STP.)
