Charging a rate of $250,000 per speaking event, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton appears four times at Goldman Sachs events. The highly demanded transcripts have now been made public by the whistleblower website WikiLeaks.
As media outlets begin to sift through the documents, it’s being said that they are “Not that interesting” and “rather boring. She definitely just winged them.”
That seemed to be okay because “Only a quarter of the anticipated people showed up. The bankers much rather show up at their tee-time than listen to her speak.” Many investors sent their interns to take notes and email the bullet points of the event.
Attendees said the deserts were fantastic. “The best chocolate moose I’ve ever eaten. Don’t remember much else. Was trying to get out of there as soon as possible. Even us interns have better things to do with our time.”
One intern admitted, “I was pretty hammered and high from the night before, so wasn’t paying much attention. I just remember it seemed to last forever,”
The audio tape will be uploaded to YouTube and iTunes Wednesday.
