US Swimmer Ryan Lochte Mugged in Beverly Hills; Larry David a Witness

Los Angeles, CA - In a bizarre sequence of events, American swimmer Ryan Lochte was mugged in Beverly Hills, California with comedian Larry David as a witness. After shopping for an expensive watch, Lochte was robbed exiting the store. Lochte also told police his Olympic gold medal was stolen in the process.

Larry David was having lunch across the street, sitting outside of a famous Beverly Hills deli when the robbery occurred and called the police to make the report. He told local NBC News, I thought maybe they were filming a scene for a movie or something but then I noticed there weren’t any production trucks. I took another bite of my tuna sandwich and called my manager what’s going on. Order a tuna on rye. Thought someone else would. The store maybe. The store definitely calls the police.Their reputation is at stake. I’m thinking about this season 10 of Curb. Then called the police.”

“This will be a good scene for the new season of Curb. I get caught in a bank robbery. That would be a fun episode to do with Lewis.”

“I didn’t know who the guy was. Maybe a reality guy, a surfer, who knows.”

Lochte had just flown in from Miami after leaving Brazil before he could be detained. His clothing sponsors were housing him at the famous Beverly Hills Hotel and wanted to shop before he was supposed to attend a boring hipster Sunday afternoon day nightclub party. A few white guys with guitars were going sing.

TMZ caught up to Lochte to speak to him at Umami Burger. “It might sound like crying wolf, but I was robbed, for real this time. It’s like art imitating life.”
