“It’s a very common disease that I have. Millions of people have it,” said Trump. “The doctor said it was amazing I could do even one debate. He literally said it was some kind of miracle that I could do the debate. It was an amazing debate that I won, so no need for the others. Especially if Clinton doesn’t have to deal with the disease. She probably has other diseases to deal with.”
Trump sent a doctor’s note from an unnamed doctor to Fox News showing he was excused from the next two debates claiming “I could die if I have to go through another debate of two. I’m sure I could do it but why take the chance. I already had one beautiful debate. Maybe the most beautiful ever. That’s what they tell me.”
The Clinton campaign was having none of this and released a statement saying, “We assume he got a doctors note from Dr. Suess. This isn’t third-grade gym class, this is for the president fo the United States, Donald.”
Sean Hannity came to Trump’s defense saying, “He’s told me about this disease for years. He just didn’t want to worry everyone. He’d call me late at night and we’d discuss the disease for hours and hours. And sometimes I’d get get a text and we’d text for a while. But I’ve known about this disease for many years.”
With two debates left, Trump would likely go dirty and bring up as much of Clinton’s past as possible. He was studying up on Monica Lewinsky before he sent out the doctor’s note excusing him from the next two debates. “She was a great woman,” said Trump. “Hillary wasn’t very nice to her which isn’t nice. I think she has a real problem with women if I’m honest with you.”
