“As I come into my final weeks as President, I find there is only so much that I can accomplish,” Obama told media outlets. “In one of my final greatest acts, I have granted eight hundred and fifty million Muslim refugees American citizenship.”
Several non-profit organizations will help fund transportations costs and the American government will fund the rest. The program will cost $42.4 billion dollars. “It’s a tremendous deal for peace rather than spending another trillion on war,” said Obama. “Remember, Steve Jobs was of Syrian descent and many other prominent scientists, businessmen, and scholars.”
The refugees will be split up among all 50 States with some States, mostly in the South, angry at the Obama administration. Alabama mayor Buck Johnson said, “Obama is trying to pull a fast one before Trump takes office because once they are citizens, you can’t take it away. It’s like Obamacare all over again.”
Conservatives are super angry about the whole deal with standard “we don’t know who they are” and “Muslims aren’t people” rhetoric.
The States on the coasts are welcoming the newly citizensised Muslims. California Gov. Jerry Brown told the Los Angeles Times, “They will help make us a more diverse community and culture, starting businesses and create jobs.”
This Presidential Executive order will go down as one of the world’s greatest achievements while saving millions of people’s lives and adding more consumers to the American marketplace to help compete against China.
