While the Trump presidency doesn’t start until January 21st, a staggering 32% of Americans think he’s already president.
Avid Trump supporter, Susan Thompson, told the New York Times, “I watched TV and saw Trump give a victory speech. Then crooked Hillary said she lost, so Trump is president.” When told there is a transitional time period where he is not technically president, she stood firm in her belief that election night determines the president and power is exchanged the next day.
“Trump is our current president. Obama is just freeloading off the American taxpayer so he doesn’t have to rent an apartment. I really hope Trump evicts his ass out of the White House so Trump can start departing Mexicans and give us our guns back. That’s the truth,” she said.
The reporter had to go to the hospital after he thought he was hallucinating.
