According to CSNChicago, Notre Dame football coach Brian Kelly, has been fired.
It has been a rough season for the Fighting Irish with several embarrassing losses along with a few bad seasons.
Kelly started his career at Notre Dame on a high note with a top-ranked team. Some say the previous two coaches had recruited the team he coached.
The proud school has had a harder time getting new recruits due to high academic standards. Multiple students have been arrested over the years where such crimes would have gone unreported at schools like Alabama or Florida.
An assistant coach will be named interned head coach as early as Sunday night.
