Donald J. Trump filed a lawsuit in New York claiming defamation and bullying. The Federal 3rd circuit district court will hear the case with opening statements to be made early January. The filing said, “It’s not satire if it’s not funny. And SNL is lame with a bunch of losers.”
“How would they like it if I made fun of them?” asked Trump. “They’d probably go back crying home to their mother’s basement.”
NBC is the network that shows SNL and is also the same network that airs The Apprentice. While Trump’s show is paid by MGM, there seems to be another conflict of interest for Trump, but with TV shows.
“We all know SNL makes like ten dollars a year. My show makes billions for NBC, so it’s not a tough business call for the executives to make,” said Trump. “And Lorne Michaels is a huge loser and very short. Maybe only five feet four inches. Maybe even shorter.”
