The tragedy over the weekend when religious nut Robert Dear shot up a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs leaving three dead and 9 wounded boosted his name among Republican Presidential candidates by 7 points.
A relatively unknown name outside of anti-Obama online discussion forums has broken onto the main stage with two days of free media worth nearly $15 million dollars.
Dear now leads George Bush by 3 percent but trails Donald Trump by 14 percent. However, the arrests and potential domestic terrorism charges will hurt him in swing states; the Republican base loves him.
“Finally, someone who will really stand up to Planned Parenthood,” said Buck Smith of Indiana. “He hates baby parts as much as me, if not more.”
Gretchen Leary said, “The liberal media is going to paint him as the bad guy because that’s what they do, they take good real Christian Americans and make them seem like a murderous villain. He’s not and he’s got my vote.”
The case is still ongoing with federal prosecutors determining if they can charge him with domestic terrorism. “You know who the real terrorist is? It’s Obama. Everyone knows that.My weekly news letter said it so it must be true,” said Leary. “Free Dear!”
