Green Bay, WI - Former Packers quarterback Brett Favre threw 3 interceptions during his number retirement ceremony Thanksgiving evening against the Chicago Bears.

During Favre’s 15 year career, he threw 857 interceptions and was known as a wild gunslinger. However, he was able to win a Super Bowl and an MVP.

With his white facial stubble, Favre managed to set a new league record in interceptions thrown during a halftime retirement ceremony. It was a rainy game, so throwing accuracy goes down as the ball becomes more slippery.

After the game, Packers coach Mike McCarthy said, “In retrospect, we should have run the ball more and not put him in those throwing situations.”
