In the wake of America’s most recent mass shooting in Southern California, France has issued a travel ban to the United States out of fear of violence.
With a mass shooting occurring every day in America, it is seen across the world as a dangerous place compared to all other developed nations.
France’s Board de Travel Presidente Ealasaid Barteau told France 24, “We have been considering this ban for a while now. We keep expecting the US government to do something after one of these mass shootings, but nothing happens. Now it’s my unfortunate pleasure to issue the travel ban to America.
“We aren’t a violent country, and we don’t care for mayonnaise. Guns aren’t popular here, and we don’t want our citizens being shot.”
The Board had been reviewing data for several years before making the ban.
“They have a mass shooting every day, and we fear for our citizens,” said Barteau. “It’s too dangerous of a place. We wouldn’t think so because of how powerful they are economically, but apparently that is not an indicator of safety.”
