The whistleblower who exposed countless secret American spying programs against people worldwide, Edward Snowden, said he would consider traveling back home to the United States if he would receive a “fair” trial. The American government responded, “Edward Snowden will receive a ‘fair’ no jury military trial in a secret location. What else would be fair to a traitor?”

Privacy advocates promote Snowden as a hero for bringing light to the illegal tactics the United States government has been perpetrating on its citizens. Yet, Snowden finds himself wanted for treason as he currently resides in Moscow, Russia.

The CIA told the New York Times, “Just because the media won’t be allowed to document the trial doesn’t mean it won’t be fair. Just because a single secret judge will decide the case, doesn’t mean it won’t be fair. Just because it’s in a secret location, that also doesn’t mean it won’t be fair.

“You know what’s unfair? Snowden hiding in Russia after knowingly breaking several high-security laws, that’s what’s not fair. And people think he’s a hero for being a whistleblower. He’s a traitor so get over it.

“We are giving him a good public defender to represent him. The lawyer has over ten cases under his belt in Spokane, Washington.”

If Snowden were to come back to the United States and face trial, he could face the death penalty under the Treason Act of 1795. The best case scenario would be life in prison without parole.

The NSA has offered Snowden a free business class one-way ticket from Moscow to Atlanta if he wishes to proceed with the trial. NSA executive Tom Landry told the Times, “Free ticket back home, free meals while you wait for your trial, and a new mattress in a newly renovated cell. Sounds like a vacation to me.”

When asked how the public will know if he is found guilty or innocent, Landry replied, “If you never see or hear from him again, just assume he was guilty or innocent.

“Just because it’s secret doesn’t mean it’s not fair.”

Privacy advocate John Tomlinson said, “It’s like the original X-Files finale where Mulder is accused of killing a Super Soldier and the jury is made up of a secret society including an alien.

“But this is not a TV show and Snowden’s life will be in real danger. Not many people can say Russia is a safer place to live than the United States.

“The worst part of this whole leaking classified documents detailing an illegal surveillance program is that the public still doesn’t care about the boundaries the government not only crossed, but completely ignored.

“Snowden obviously can’t trust the US government, if he did, we’d never see or hear from him again. He might as well commit suicide rather than go through a fake trial.

“Fair trial my ass.”
